Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Follow strict safety protocols and comply with National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Assist with wiring, conduit installation, and circuit breaker replacements
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
- Collaborate with senior electricians to ensure timely project completion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and hand/power tools
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to pursuing electrician certification within 6 months
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
