Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties under supervision
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot wiring, circuits, and control systems
- Adhere to NEC codes and safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures
- Assist with panel upgrades, lighting installations, and emergency repairs
- Document work completion and maintain organized tool inventory
- Participate in 40+ hours/year of continuing education
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school preferred)
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and Ohm's Law
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain WA State Electrical Trainee certification
