Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Conduct safety inspections using multimeters and circuit testers
- Assist senior electricians with conduit bending, wire pulling, and panel upgrades
- Document work orders and maintain project compliance records
- Adhere to NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Participate in emergency call-out rotations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic hand tool proficiency (screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain Ohio electrical apprentice license
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Columbus metro
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
