Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and California state regulations
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures for electrical faults
- Collaborate with senior electricians and project managers on complex installations
- Document work activities and maintain accurate project records
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and use proper protective equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California electrician trainee certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
