Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentsInstall, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems per NEC standardsConduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulationsOperate power tools and diagnostic equipmentDocument work orders and maintain project recordsParticipate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic understanding of electrical principles
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and lift 50+ lbs
- Willingness to obtain NY State electrician certification
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
