Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform inspections and ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Assist senior electricians with complex projects and system upgrades
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and tools
- Document work orders and maintain project safety standards
- Participate in emergency electrical repairs and after-hours calls as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain Oregon electrical certification within 6 months
- Pass background check and drug screening
