Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements
- Follow NEC codes and safety protocols for all electrical work
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Conduit bending, wire pulling, and device installation under supervision
- Document work progress and maintain accurate job records
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions
- Collaborate with journeymen electricians and other trade professionals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and electrical components preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work in confined spaces
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to pursue Oregon electrical apprentice certification
