Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and building codes
- Perform basic troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and multimeters
- Install and connect conduits, circuit breakers, switches, and outlets
- Ensure all work adheres to OSHA and California Electrical Code standards
- Prepare job sites, organize tools/equipment, and maintain clean work areas
- Participate in ongoing skills development through our apprenticeship program
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – open to career changers and recent graduates
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces/heights
- Basic math skills for load calculations and material estimation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Los Angeles County
