Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and California state regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Assist senior electricians with complex installations and system upgrades
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to pursue electrician certification within 12 months
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
