Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical issues
- Use hand/power tools and test equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and job sites
- Participate in ongoing training for certification advancement
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to obtain Texas electrician license (training provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin metro
- No prior electrical experience necessary – we train!
