Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read blueprints and technical schematics accurately
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Adhere to strict safety protocols (NEC compliance)
- Assist senior electricians with complex installations
- Document work progress and maintain client records
- Participate in ongoing safety training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tool proficiency (wire strippers, multimeters)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain Illinois electrician license within 6 months
- Pass background check and drug screening
