Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform circuit testing, troubleshooting, and equipment calibration
- Adhere to strict safety protocols (OSHA, NFPA 70E standards)
- Assist senior electricians with complex projects
- Document work orders and maintain accurate project logs
- Participate in weekly safety briefings and skills workshops
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tool proficiency (wire strippers, multimeters, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Commitment to safety-first work practices
- Willingness to obtain Florida electrical license within 6 months
- No prior experience required – training provided
