Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct electrical testing using multimeters, voltage testers, and other diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations
- Install wiring, conduit, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
- Document work completed using digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols
- Ability to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoor)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to job sites
