Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and equipment following safety protocols
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Learn and apply OSHA/NYC electrical safety standards
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Document work progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior electrical experience necessary
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and climb ladders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications (training provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
