Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Participate in ongoing safety training and follow OSHA standards
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain Oregon electrical certification within 6 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Portland metro area
