Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Ensure compliance with California Electrical Code (CEC) and OSHA safety standards
- Operate diagnostic tools and specialized electrical equipment
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting complex electrical issues
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical panels and wiring
- Document work activities and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuit fundamentals
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at varying heights
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship requirements
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
