Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Operate hand/power tools and specialized electrical equipment safely
- Document work orders, materials used, and project progress
- Participate in on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to complete OSHA 10-hour electrical training
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
