Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment following blueprints and safety protocols
- Assist senior electricians with system diagnostics and repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and circuit breakers
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Document work orders and maintain project safety logs
- Participate in on-the-job training for specialized tools and techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety practices
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to obtain Nebraska electrician license within 12 months
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
