Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment under supervision
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Assist in conduit bending, circuit installation, and fixture mounting
- Document work progress and maintain organized job site records
- Participate in safety briefings and OSHA-mandated training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior electrical experience necessary – training provided
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and load calculations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to obtain Wisconsin electrical certification within 6 months
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
