Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform diagnostic testing on wiring, circuits, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and Florida building codes
- Safely operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Document work orders and maintain service records
- Participate in emergency on-call rotations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety protocols
- Ability to work in confined spaces and adverse weather
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders and carrying equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to pursue state certification (company-sponsored)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
