Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures
- Follow blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure code compliance
- Perform safety inspections and troubleshooting on residential/commercial projects
- Use hand/power tools and test equipment to diagnose electrical issues
- Collaborate with senior electricians to complete projects on schedule
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes
- Document work performed and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must be able to obtain Texas Electrician Apprentice license
