Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to determine wiring layouts
- Inspect electrical components for safety and compliance with OSHA/NFPA standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Assist senior electricians in completing projects efficiently
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior electrical experience necessary
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights/limited spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Willingness to pursue Journeyman certification within 2 years
