Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential/commercial installations and repairs
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics
- Safely operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Install/conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical components per code
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and National Electrical Code standards
- Maintain organized job sites and clean work areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math and measurement skills for accurate installations
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Albuquerque
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within 6 months
