Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install conduit, wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Perform diagnostic testing using multimeters and circuit testers
- Adhere strictly to NEC codes and OSHA safety regulations
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic hand tool proficiency
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to complete 144 hours/year of classroom training
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to job sites
