Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with wiring, conduit installation, and circuit troubleshooting
- Follow NEC safety standards and OSHA regulations on all job sites
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics
- Install lighting fixtures, outlets, and switchgear in residential/commercial settings
- Perform equipment maintenance and basic diagnostic testing
- Document work progress and maintain organized tool inventory
- Participate in ongoing skills workshops and certification prep
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and load calculations
- Commitment to 40-hour work schedule with occasional overtime
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
