Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform electrical system maintenance and troubleshooting under supervision
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Install conduit, wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Participate in on-the-job training sessions and skill development workshops
- Maintain organized tool inventory and clean job sites
- Document work progress and complete daily reports
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – we train motivated beginners!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements and load calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Sacramento County
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
