Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, and equipment assembly
- Conduct routine safety inspections and compliance checks
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in OSHA 10-hour safety training programs
- Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel throughout North Carolina
- Basic math and measurement proficiency
- No felony convictions (required for licensing)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
