Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install wiring, conduit, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Perform diagnostic testing using multimeters and voltage testers
- Adhere to strict NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills development and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to job sites within North Carolina
- Basic math and measurement proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must provide own basic hand tools (list provided upon hire)
