Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential/commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Safely install and troubleshoot wiring, circuits, and electrical components
- Adhere to all National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain organized job sites and proper tool/equipment management
- Document work progress and complete required paperwork
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and tolerate heights
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Miami-Dade
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain Florida Electrical Trainee certification (company-sponsored)
