Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations
- Learn and apply OSHA safety standards and electrical codes
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, conduits, and electrical components
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics under supervision
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing safety and skills training sessions
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – we train from scratch!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Philadelphia metro area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain PA electrician apprentice license within 90 days
