Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install and wire lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Document work orders and maintain organized job sites
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to obtain Texas electrician licensing within 12 months
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
