Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision of licensed electricians
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC)
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions
- Participate in regular safety training and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Complete documentation and reporting for assigned tasks and projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, work at heights, and perform manual labor
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain safety protocols
- Basic math and measurement skills for technical calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Louisville metro area
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
