Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance under direct supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Safely operate hand/power tools and electrical testing equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC and NYC building codes
- Perform wire pulling, conduit bending, and circuit troubleshooting
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in paid continuing education and skills development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong commitment to safety protocols
- Willingness to obtain NYC Electrical License within 6 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
