Responsibilities
- Install and maintain residential/commercial electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform circuit testing, troubleshooting, and repairs using diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain organized workspaces
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in safety training and follow all workplace protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and load calculations
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Virginia
- Willingness to obtain Journeyman Electrician certification within 4 years
