Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Perform hands-on installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems under supervision.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret and apply electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to project plans.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA standards and company safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Tool Management: Maintain, organize, and troubleshoot electrical tools and test equipment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and ready for work, ensuring a professional appearance.
- Code Adherence: Study and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all project phases.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior electrical experience required; we look for attitude and aptitude.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure and ruler.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
