Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Provide hands-on support with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize electrical materials, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow on job sites.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Blueprint Reading: Study and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and temporary power sources as directed.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Help test electrical systems using multimeters and other diagnostic tools to identify faults and ensure functionality.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients to explain project progress and maintain a positive company image.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Technical diploma or vocational training in electrical trades is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions (hot, cold, wet).
- Driver’s License: Valid Colorado Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
- Math Skills: Strong fundamental math skills for calculating measurements and load calculations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as project demands dictate.
- Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in learning the trade and a desire to grow within the industry.
