Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn and adhere to all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations strictly.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating conductors.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently under direct supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Complete required training modules and documentation as part of the apprenticeship curriculum.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; technical school background is a major plus.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (hot, cold, confined spaces).
- Basic math skills and ability to read simple blueprints or schematics.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
