Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, mounting boxes, and connecting fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding job progress and requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred (or demonstrated aptitude for technical work).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, working in various weather conditions, and standing for long periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn the electrical trade.
- Willingness to travel between Houston, TX, and Florida job sites as needed.
