Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas by organizing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform basic wiring, fixture installation, and outlet replacement under supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be willing to obtain a Journeyman license within a specified timeframe.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (climbing ladders, bending, standing for long periods).
- Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn a trade.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
