As an entry-level electrician, you will work alongside certified journeymen to gain hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Learn to understand technical drawings and schematics to plan project execution accurately.
- Perform Basic Electrical Tasks: Run wire, connect outlets and switches, and assist in troubleshooting electrical systems under supervision.
- Tools and Equipment Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by maintaining tools and adhering to safety protocols.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explain work being performed, and ensure satisfaction with completed projects.
- Project Support: Help with material pickup, site preparation, and cleanup duties to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience: No prior experience is required. We value attitude and willingness to learn over technical skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments (confined spaces, heights, outdoors).
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for site travel.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to safety standards.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
