Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Shadow and support journeyman electricians on residential and commercial job sites under close supervision.
- Tool Management: Learn to properly use, clean, and maintain electrical tools, meters, and equipment.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and organizing materials.
- Basic Wiring: Begin learning basic circuit connections, wire stripping, and terminal connections.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and answer basic questions about the work being performed.
- Keep Records: Assist in maintaining accurate daily logs, time sheets, and paperwork.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We value attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn over prior technical experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic addition, subtraction, and measurements.
- Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong attendance record.
