Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Study and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components and circuits.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or material shortages to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand measurements.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; we provide the training.
