Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations.
- Perform basic wiring tasks such as installing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and ceiling fans.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to OSHA safety standards and local building codes (NEC).
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment for daily job assignments.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders safely.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material estimation.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Willingness to obtain required state apprenticeship certifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
