Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and ensuring a clean, organized work environment.
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and organize stock at the warehouse.
- Basic Installation: Help with straightforward tasks such as stripping wire, terminating cables, mounting fixtures, and installing outlets and switches.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of supplies and report any missing or damaged equipment to the foreman.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; a strong willingness to learn is the most important factor.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide training for the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable working at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and excellent communication skills.
- Basic Math: Ability to perform basic measurements and read simple instructions.
