Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and organize job sites.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Clean work areas and maintain a professional appearance.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical components to ensure functionality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
- Basic reading comprehension and math skills.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and travel to different job sites.
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; we will train the right candidate.
