Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for job sites.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and equipment testing under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
- Install and connect electrical components such as outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and paperwork.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work on ladders.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
