Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including terminating conduit, installing outlets, switches, and fixtures.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes.
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Conduct basic voltage testing and troubleshoot minor electrical issues under supervision.
- Attend weekly safety meetings and technical training sessions to advance skill levels.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and the physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
