Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Shadow and support Journeyman electricians during residential and commercial installations and repairs.
- Learn System Fundamentals: Gain hands-on experience with circuit breakers, wiring, lighting, and power distribution under close supervision.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by moving materials, clearing debris, and ensuring the workspace is safe and organized.
- Tool Maintenance: Learn to properly use, maintain, and organize hand and power tools essential to the trade.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and keeping work areas tidy.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the day.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus but not required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Attitude: A strong desire to learn, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
