Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Install and replace electrical fixtures, outlets, switches, and wiring under close supervision.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local building codes, OSHA safety standards, and company protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Perform routine inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Document work completed and report any potential safety hazards to the team lead immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not strictly required for this entry-level position.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
