Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, connecting outlets, and installing lighting fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites using a personal vehicle.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; a trade school background is a plus but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (required for transportation of tools and travel to job sites).
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Strong willingness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols strictly.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude.
